The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by article 24(1)
of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005(1).
In accordance with article 24(4) of that Order the Secretary of State has consulted such persons or
bodies of persons as appeared to the Secretary of State to be appropriate.
